Jump & Jive in this creative dance class for PreSchoolers!

This creative dance class takes a concept-based approach to exploring movement and introducing dance technique.  What does that mean?  Students in this class will be introduced to a new movement concept (such as size, level, rhythm, flow, weight, etc) each week.  All movement games, improvisations and technique will be learned through the lens of that theme.  This keeps class interesting and engaging which helps students develop a sense of confidence, independence, and community while having a great time.

Students should wear comfortable, non-restrictive play clothes and bare feet.

Additional Info:

Class is held at at Dance Center Chicago, above Chase Bank.  The entrance is on Byron.  The entryway has a very small landing and then a staircase up to the Dance Center studios.  There is a common area with couches and a table where parents & siblings can wait while class is in session.

Chicago Dance Center is accessible via the Irving Park brown line and the Irving Park, Lincoln Ave, and Damen busses.  Free street parking is available, but it can be very difficult to find a spot.  Metered parking is available on Lincoln.
