Express yourself in this class for kids who love to groove & make up their own moves!

This creative dance class takes a concept-based approach to exploring movement, learning dance technique, and improving improvisation and choreographic skills.  What does that mean?  Students in this class will be introduced to a new movement concept (such as size, level, rhythm, flow, weight, etc) each week.  All movement games, improvisations, technique, and choreography projects will be learned through the lens of that theme.  This keeps class fresh and interesting, even as students repeat steps and exercises to become more proficient in their skills as Movers & Makers.

Movers & Makers is a great fit for kids who love finding new ways to move their bodies and turn those moves into choreographed dances.

Students should wear comfortable, non-restrictive play clothes and bare feet
